I am currently an assistant account executive on the Brand team at Edelman in Washington, D.C. Prior to graduating from JMU and starting at Edelman full-time, I was a communications marketing intern at Edelman during summer 2017.

Pitches and Media Placements
I developed pitches and media lists, and conducted outreach around seasonal travel trends like rooftop pools, solar eclipse viewing, fall marathons, Game of Thrones, fall honeymoons and more. I earned placements in Reader's Digest, TravelPulse, Hospitality Business, Hotel Business and Hotel Designs.

Launch of Key Initiatives
I supported key client initiatives like the launch of Hilton's Five Feet to Fitness and Connected Room by conducting research and media audits, developing media lists and pitches, monitoring placements and tracking analytics.
Media and Social Trends Newsletter
I drafted a monthly media update newsletter, called "Innsider," for Hilton to keep a pulse on current media and social trends and outlets to watch
Monitoring and Analytics
I monitored daily for media coverage and drafted merchandising notes for Hilton's flagship brand, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and monitoring daily agriculture trends to develop a weekly report for Florida Department of Citrus. I also developed weekly media coverage analytic reports for Hilton, which included insights, summaries, reach and social highlights.
