During the 2016-2017 school year, I was the president of JMU Habitat for Humanity (HFH). In this position, I delegated tasks and managed 12 executive board members in weekly meetings and our 275+ members in twice-monthly general body meetings. I also served as the liaison between JMU and Habitat for Humanity International and delivered presentations to various audiences. I also advised all JMU HFH campus events (Habitat Day and annual 5k race), social events, community service events, fundraisers and workshops, as well as maintained our website and produced semester-long calendars for the executive board and general body members.
Prior to being elected president, I was the project coordinator (April 2016-August 2016) and the advertising and community outreach chair (April 2015-April 2016). In these roles, respectively, I organized weekly community service events throughout Virginia and West Virginia, and designed and executed all social media and campus-wide campaigns.
